【报告人简介】

Qianqiu Liu is the Shidler College Distinguished Professor of Finance and the Director of Ph.D. program at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Professor Liu received his B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. in Statistics from Wuhan University, and Ph.D. in Finance from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has taught multiple courses at the undergraduate, (E)MBA, MFE, MSF, and Ph.D. levels at Shidler since 2003. Professor Liu won the best teaching award in the Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) program in 2010, 2012, and 2013, and Shirley M. Lee Research Award in 2009 at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa. His current research interests are in the areas of empirical asset pricing, financial econometrics, market microstructure, international finance, and personal financial planning. He has previously published in journals such as Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Management Science, and Review of Financial Studies. Professor Liu won the best paper awards at the 2008 and 2010 Academy of Financial Services, 2012 Asian Finance Association, and 2014 Financial Management Association Asian Annual
